Introduction The problems of modernization of the economy and maintenance of a stable economic growth are crucial to all countries around the world. The process of globalization and the development of information technology increase the competition between states and forces national governments to develop strategies that would allow their nations to gain a competitive advantage as a way to ensure the country’s leading position in the world in terms of economic, political and cultural influence. Henceforth, culture was considered as a good, while the main purpose of producers of these commodities converted from working for the enlightenment to earning a profit. Based on that, Adorno and Horkheimer (1972) firstly defined the cultural industry as the totality of standardized and industrial goods of mass culture along with the interdependence between producers and consumers in the entertainment sector.
