They both provide explanations of how it may have happened. While science relies on formal testing to explain why the world is, religion relies on intelligent design, or the argument that God’s existence from the physical world is that living things are so beautiful and purposeful, that they could only have been made by an intelligent designer (Van Biema, 2006). Mr. Stephen Hawking and Mr. Leonard Mlodinow’s assertion that the creation of the universe “does not require intervention of some supernatural being or god” is very pretentious. M-Theory is an unconfirmed theory, yet the authors make the assertion that it explains existence. We don’t have instruments capable of measuring all of Nature; therefore, we cannot be convinced that we have a final
