Creationism Vs. Evolution

The one question in the back of everyone’s mind; Why are we here and how did we get here? Every man or woman wants a reason or purpose for being, and there are many different explanations that people have found. Though there are many, there are many, the two main explanations that people have adopted are creationism and evolution. Creationism is based around the bible and its teachings and explanations while the theory of evolution is based around the idea that humans today evolved from primates to become what we are today. Many people hold the bible as the epiphany of fact and they base their lives around its teachings. Creationism is defined as “the various forms of life, and the world were created by God out of nothing,” (Merriam Webster dictionary) and though no proof has been documented to prove this, most people today strongly believe it and would argue passionately for it. The two main accepted reasons; The theories of Creationism and Evolution, contradict greatly, the former stating that God created all life on earth and the latter being that all life started out as basic micro-organisms and eventually evolved to the living things that are present in our world today. Both have something going for them, belief and proof, and neither can be completely proved or disproved and will likely remain as a discussion topic for many years to come. If one was ever actually proved to be correct or incorrect, both sides would still have members who would continue to believe in these, and thus the debate will rage on. And all these theories are for are a way for people to feel as though they have a purpose in life.
