Creation vs. Evolution
By: Benjamin Garcia How did the earth and all of its inhabitants come to be? This is a question that has puzzled humans for ages. There are two main theories that explain how the earth was formed. These are the theories of evolution and creation. The most accepted creation theory is the one of the biblical creationists. Did a big explosion occur, setting everything in order and providing an atmosphere suitable for life, or did a creator lovingly design us along with every bird, bee, flower, and tree? Although there are many differences between these two, I hope to show you what each view is and how they are similar.

However, there is no way to actually prove or disprove this. It is all a matter of belief and faith. According to Google, the earth is 4.54 billion years old. This age is based on evidence from radiometric age dating of meteorite material and is consistent with the radiometric ages of the oldest-known terrestrial and lunar samples. If evolution works on planet earth, why do we not see life on other planets? This question has been pondered for years by scientist. Here is a paragraph from an article that states: “Since scientists agree that the earth has not existed eternally, simple logic dictates that no middle position exists on the important issue of plan versus accident. Either a superintending Mind planned and designed our planet, or it all originated by a fortuitous accident without a plan and design!” (Stuart E.
