When a human beings its life is something to be nurtured and cared for but, many people argue that they have the right to decide whether or not they want to bear that child. Because many women cannot financially support the child or have been victims of rape. It is wrong to abort a fetus that passes the first trimester, since it starts to develop its organs and nerves, the mother will have great loss, and can lead to long term health effects for the women. During 1973 the Roe vs. Wade trail took place; Roe a pregnant women and a mother of two wanted to terminate her pregnancy, since she was financially unstable to support her third child. There are different ways of having an abortion; such as saline injection. This is used when the fetus is 4 months, the saline is injected into the baby sac and the fetus swallows it and acts as a poison; after an hour the baby usually dies and labor will happen within a 24 hour period. When the baby is delivered it is most likely dead or in a process of dying. It is inhumane to abort a fetus that passes the first trimester, the fetus starts to develop its organs and nerves, the mother will have great loss and can lead to emotional problems, abortion can lead to long term health effects for the women. Abortion is legal in the U.S. since, the case of 1973 of Roe vs. Wade. Roe won the trial to legalize abortion since it falls under the fourteenth amendment of womens rights. Abortion is morally wrong and inhumane to kill any child because the mother is not able to support it or even not having the burden of a child. The act of abortion should not have been legalized, since it is a murder of an innocent child who did not have a choice to come into the world. Every child has a right to live but, if a child is aborted it does not get a chance to

Motherhood should never be a punishment. Abortion is a fundamental right and should stay legal in all places for all people. A common misconception about abortion is that the child is able to feel being aborted and that it hurts the fetus. But what people do not know is that the child is actually not able to feel pain until around the twentieth week of gestation. Studies show that less than two percent of abortions occur after twenty weeks.…

Abortion does not prevent suffering, according to the ProCon.org website, it states that fetuses feel pain during the abortion. Kanwaljeet J.S. Anand says,”If the fetus is beyond 20 weeks of gestation, I believe there would be pain acting on the fetus, it would be severe and excruciating pain.” (http://abortion.procon.org/). Within 20 weeks or more, the fetus is more than capable of feeling the pain. A type of commonly performed abortion is called the D and C method, this is a surgical procedure that removes the contents of the uterus by opening the cervix.…

In fact a because a baby is just developing it’s brain when the abortion is happening the pain can cause even more pain that it would if it was happening to a full grown person. This is because the brain does not understand what exactly the sensation is, it know that it is painful but it does not know what part of the brain it appeals to so it ends in an overload of parts of the brain causing mass chaos and confusion. A study done on babies shows us that a light poke to a baby registers in the brain just as much as hard poke. Despite the pain felt by a 20 week old unborn baby some states still have no bans on 3rd trimester babies, where the baby can survive out of the womb. Abortion although a conservative topic I think that it is clear that if it must be done it must be done in the most humane way possible, and our current methods do not suffice especially past 20 weeks when they feel the full force of the abortion.…

Some people call themselves pro-life, I prefer to call myself anti-death. Most sane people would also agree that they are anti-death because they do not support the killing of innocent human beings. But what they fail to realize is that murder has been legal in the United States for the past 42 years. Abortion is defined as the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy but this is just a euphemism for the voluntary annihilation of an unborn child. In 1973, the Supreme Court made a decision on the case of Roe v. Wade ruling unconstitutional a state law that banned abortions except to save the life of the mother.…

People are known for having sympathetic feelings to a child who is visible over the unborn fetus. However, pro-life activists hold that emotions that cannot form a basis for justifying birth. With the fetus being born or not being born; the fetus does have a chance in becoming a full human being. Viability of a fetus to survive outside the womb independently is when the fetus is able to get that ‘full human being’ status. Abortion also raises ethical issues of character.…

I.Introduction The topic of abortion is currently one of the most controversial issues. The 1973 supreme court ruling of Roe v. Wade allowed for women to legally obtain abortions throughout their entire pregnancy, however, conditions were put into place that allowed for states to regulate abortions during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy. The right to have an abortion is protected under the constitution’s 14th amendment which protects the basic rights of citizens. This ruling has left our country divided in half by those who are for and against abortion. Those who oppose Roe v. Wade are referred to as pro-life and those in agreement are pro-choice.…

Abortion Up to a certain point in time until the fetus is able to feel pain, the pregnant mother should be the only one to have a say in what her choice to do with her body is. The arguments I am going to discuss about abortion is why I am strongly sided with the pro-choice side. However, I think after a certain point abortion should be illegal. “Anatomical studies have documented that the body’s pain network—the spino-thalamic pathway—is established by 20 weeks gestation.…

An abortion can be done up to twenty-four weeks. At twenty weeks, though, unborn babies can feel pain. At twenty weeks, the fetal brain has the full complement of brain cells that are in adult brains. Abortion is the conscious decision to choose to end a pregnancy. Although gruesome, an abortion is, in simple, nonmedical terms when a child inside the womb is torn apart and taken out of the mother’s body. In some events, when it’s been more than twenty-four weeks of pregnancy, the doctor is forced to pull the fetus out of the mother and stab in in the neck with a sharp item. The brain is then sucked out of the neck with a vacuum like medical tool. Due to the amount of research and knowledge we have on the human body, nowadays there is also an option to abort a child by ingesting pills.…

Women’s health can be affected if she is not able to have one, the fetus can’t feel pain, and overall it should be the woman’s choice. To begin with, fetuses aren’t able to feel pain during the time abortions are performed. Pain doesn’t occur for fetuses until the 29th or 30th week of being in the mother’s womb. Abortions occurring that far into the pregnancy are rare and sometimes illegal (“Should Abortion Be Legal?”). Dr. Anne Davis, an OB-GYN and abortion provider, says, “... Neurons that carry pain signals aren’t developed until the third trimester of pregnancy.”…
