Crawl Space Encapsulation

Water and moisture are constant problems with crawl spaces. If the water/moisture is removed from a crawl space, it may only last a short period of time.

Rain will eventually come and re-hydrate the soil, causing new water to collect inside of your crawl space. Luckily, Foundation Medix has a permanent solution to stop water from damaging a crawl space. With crawl space encapsulation we encapsulate the crawl space by covering it with a 20 mil. reinforced polyethylene vapor barrier , which completely stops water vapor from flowing above the soil, water flowing out of foundation walls, and allows water to drain to a specific location. At this location, we install a sump pump to remove the excess water.
