There are many very important things you will need to do if you are in a crash. The first thing you should do is worry about the safety of yourself and others. You should worry about this before you worry about insurance. If someone is injured have somebody notify the police, if you haven't already. The first thing you need to do, if nobody is injured, you will need to move off the freeway if possible. Once you are in a safe place, you will need to exchange the following information with other person, or persons, you are involved in the crash with: Name, Address, Phone number, Email Address, Make Model, and year of the car, License plate number, Insurance carrier, and insurance policy number. You will also need to give them this information. …show more content…
Being in a crash seem like it likely ever happens, but it does. Crashes happen a lot more than people think, and people need to be aware of what they need to do if their ever in a crash. If you didn't know you needed to exchange information with the other person, then you could be charged with hit and run and run and possibly go into jail, or even prison. This is a very serious deal and people need to realize the consequences and what need to be don if they are involved in an accident. If somebody is injured in this accident you need to leave the vehicles where they are and notify the police as soon as possible. You do not want to try to get some injured person out of the car, because you could possible end up hurting the person more. Notify the police and they will get the person out safely. When in a crash I think it is extremely important to be understanding and respectful to the people you got in an accident with. If you are all mean and angry you are not going to switch information and it will also make you more mad. Remember stay
