It was time for Kristina to head back home to Reno, Nevada. When she got back home she met two boys who had ways to feed her addiction. Their names were Brendan and chase. Chase and Kristina spent so much time together they started a relationship Brendan one day got her crank and made an exchange in the woods. When they made it to the woods he then became aggressive with her trying to take off her clothes, but since they were both above the influence he ended up raping her. She was so traumatized and scared she decided not to tell anybody. Later on Kristina and chase have sex, she wanted it though it was not rape. Moments later Kristina got caught being high off of crank by the police. They took her into juvenile hall, where she meets a guy that has a connection to her addiction. Once out of jail she takes her moms card to purchase a mountain of drugs and brings it to her new friends on the ‘avenue’. She starts buying and selling drugs and becomes a drug dealer. Kristina continued to deal with her drug problem. Even though it gets harder and harder for her Kristina's addiction is so strong she still manages to get it. Everyday around the world there's stories like crank by Ellen Hopkins all around the world. Teens do drugs because of many reasons, peer pressure, to feel cool, because their bored, and so many reasons more. Then there's many reasons why they continue to do it, which is the beginning of the abuse and/or addiction. Teens then start to revolve their lives around drugs and start giving up on everything else little by little. Then start doing things that can't be taken back or changed. That's why all around the country they have rehabilitation centers, to try to stop us teens before its to late. Just like Kristina being a straight A student, has happened to many teens. Where their lives are good until they start using drugs. Or have to start selling drugs because they go broke or kicked out of their own
