Cr Coach Weakness

Decent Essays
A Weakness I would have in being a potential CR coach would be my pressures that I put on myself. This pressure stems from wanting to say or do the right thing. I think I am very good at not being critical of other people but I am my own worst critic. This could be a potential weakness because I could feel pressure that I have all the answers for the person I am coaching. I become anxious when I am opposed to a conflict that I cant relate to. Like wanting to have all the answers I think my want for the person to trust me is of most importance, so I worry that if I can not relate to what they are going through then I wont be as helpful to someone to has. This can lead to me over thinking my replies when dealing with a conflict I am not familiar

If it wasn’t for Coach Boone becoming the new coach the town would of never realized the value of teamwork with the football players, the meaning of that it’s just not about race, and leadership. A weakness that I have is that I do not know how to say no to individuals that ask me for help since I love to help people. It is important that I learn to say no when helping others gets in the way of me accomplishing my tasks. It is important that I do both, but not when I run the risk of not meeting my deadlines and me staying late hours after work to get my work done. It has not been an easy task saying no, but I am learning to be okay with saying no because it is important that it does not interfere with my responsibilities.…

When I was a child when someone asked me, "What are you going to be when you grow up?" My answer was always, "I am going to be a nurse. " When I attended college the first time, my answer became, "I 'm not sure what I want to be." Right out of high school making the decision of what you are going to do for the rest of your life is scary, so I juggled back and forth from teaching and nursing. I eventually decided to take a break for a while until I knew what I needed to do.…

Throughout this semester, the most useful lesson I learned was from doing this self-assessment, which assisted in having a clearer understanding of who I am and who I will become. More importantly, they allowed me to better understand my own strengths and weaknesses, and how to better develop them. This understanding is essential to me as a future practitioner in the events industry. In this essay, I will discuss my own leadership style as “pacesetting” based on the self-assessment result proposed by Daniel Goleman (2000). I will first discuss my leadership strengths (e.g., time management) and weaknesses (e.g., lack of negotiation skills) retrieved from the self-assessment and my daily life.…

Anxiety is something I have always been accustomed to, and even some of my earliest memories involve that anxious, nerve stricken feeling in the pit of my stomach. I was always the shy kid in the class, something to grow out of once I grew older, except that was not the case at all. Anxiety and I have grown closer over the years, so much so, that I developed several crippling anxiety disorders that shaped my life and how I lived it. It came on during my high school years and it affected my school work, my home life, and just about every instance in between. I would wake up every morning filled with anxiety dreading the day ahead of me, and waiting for it all to be over.…
