2 Yes I recognize the America that Crèvecoeur was describing. A melting pot because America in a way it still is like that we have people coming from all over the world. The Americans that were described in Crèvecoeur ’s letter haven't really changed because we have people leaving their countries because they their country had lots of violence, famine, and poverty.

6 The logic in Crèvecoeur’s arguments are that Americans meet together in the United States for various reasons. His premise is that all kinds of Europeans are going to the United States. His support is that many Europeans come to America because of war, no food, and abuses from the government.
7 In the eyes of Crèvecoeur an American is a person who comes from another country looking for a better life as the one in his home land was not good enough.He refers the American as a new man because America was a country in the making at the time he was writing his paper.

He uses an exaggeration because he makes it seem that Americans come from terrible lands and have found a better place to live in
