Cowspiracy Documentary Analysis

Cowspiracy is a documentary that focuses on the environmental issues, which are caused by animal agriculture and mainly cattle. The environment has become one of the central factors when relating it to world politics. These concerns have risen in importance over the years because of what the collective action problem has done to different parts of the world. This film also mentions non-governmental organizations, also known as NGOs, that are trying to change the way that we live in western states, to reduce the changes in climate. Another way that world politics is seen in this documentary is through globalization of several livestock companies that impact developing countries, and how they are the number cause for destroying our planet. Environmental issues that convey water, land, oxygen, and other common goods are the ones that world politics emphasizes on. Since these are common goods, people that contribute in helping the earth and people that do not contribute at all, in the end they both acquire identical results. In Cowspiracy, those that consume vast quantities of meat support animal production companies that waste the most amount of clean water. The Brazilian Amazon is experiencing the majority of its trees getting cut down. Although natives to those places are dependable in cutting down the trees to provide for their families, the leading issue to blame is animal agriculture.
