I’ll be honest with you: I don’t particularly like the CoverGirl brand and I have made few mistakes with it by now. However, I received a request to test and review the Covergirl Clean Foundation, so I decided to give this brand another chance for recovery.
Let’s see what the manufacturer claims for this product. First of all, it is oil-free makeup that is supposed to absorb the excess oil from the skin and leave a natural finish thanks to the gentle conditioners that don’t allow the skin to dry out. The coverage is supposed to be light and non-cakey, without clogging the pores at all. Sounds great, right?

The packaging looks nice at first, until you open it and notice that it doesn’t feature a practical dispenser. It’s only a hole, and it’s really difficult to get the foundation out of there.
Now on to the lasting features of the Covergirl Clean Foundation, where things get really messy. My oily skin started looking really bad two hours after application. It looked even oilier than without any foundation at all. It set into the pores, made them look more noticeable and things got so bad that I simply had to wash my face and decide to never use this product again.
Conclusion: Do I recommend it?
That’s a definite no-no! Don’t try this product on oily skin. Yes, it is cheap, but purchase three cheap, useless product like this, and you’ll throw them away even though you already spent the money that could buy a really nice foundation.
The Covergirl Clean Foundation really seems like a good deal, but that impression will remain only until you actually try it. Overall, it was a nightmare experience for me and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with oily
