I am writing today to share two major announcements regarding our firm.
It is with great pleasure I announce that Lynn Fitzsimons has accepted the position of firm president effective January 1 /of this year/2017.
As president, she will manage the day-to-day operations of the firm providing leadership, vision, and general business oversight without losing focus on our clients. Lynn has been with the firm for 50 years. She understands the importance of providing exceptional service and knowledgeable guidance to clients while cultivating new relationships with business associates and the community. Her enthusiasm, quest for knowledge and continuous improvement, and fresh perspective will serve her well in this new role. She will also

Over the course of time, she continued to expand her client base and knowledge in the construction, manufacturing, and not-for-profit areas. A graduate of Millersville University, Lynn is active in the Building Industry Association and serves on the board of directors for the United Way of Lancaster County.
Please join me in congratulating Lynn on her new position and this significant career accomplishment.
As for me, I will continue serving and advising my clients in the areas of acquisition, succession planning, financial analysis and forecasting, and tax planning. Without the need to manage the overall business, I will assume responsibility for the firm’s quality assurance and expand my role on the sales team to expand upon the growth we have enjoyed in recent years. Moreover, as my predecessor, Glenn Walz, did for me, I will serve as a management advisor to Lynn (mention of time?) as the firm makes this leadership transition.
The second reason for writing today is that the firm has joined the BDO Alliance, USA, a nationwide association of independently owned local and regional accounting, consulting and service firms with similar client service

From my perspective, Shelly is a good person (that is, I hold her in my highest esteem for her qualities as a human being) with keen insight and sound judgment and possessing many additional qualities of an ideal administrative assistant. Shelly is highly competent in every aspect of the occupation, honest, candid, thoughtful and fully able to interact with a diverse array of vital internal and external constituencies. Demands evolve and change, so it is important to be flexible and adaptive while remaining grounded in organizational values and purposes as Shelly continually demonstrated she was able to do. In addition to Shelly’s character, leadership, creativity, and functional competence, she contributed to TDC in two other very important ways: through her empathy and her ability to question our assumptions, enthusiasms, and analyses without causing upset. These two characteristics were valuable in TDC’s development and operations as well as in my work.…
