I have been in the public health field of nursing for the last 6 years. I transitioned from being a nurse home visitor using the Nurse Family Partnership program to becoming the NFP supervisor. This position has opened up many opportunities for me in my current job. I have always had a personal goal to return to school to acquire my baccalaureate in nursing. As I advance my nursing career, I will have the opportunity to grow into a more rounded nurse. I am certain that the BSN curriculum will be able to help me further my critical thinking, communication and leadership skills. These skills will only be able to help me achieve a management position which is my goal as I move ahead in my nursing career.
