Courts Vs Corrections

Corrections just like the law enforcement and courts have many areas of expertise as well whether it be Probation and Parole - the penal system or jail on a local or federal level, these places are in place to ensure the safety and well being of the prisoner and also to possibly offer some form of rehabilitation in order for them to be released as a better person to society.

How do they interact together? This could be and sometimes is on a daily basis. The police-detectives-of the law enforcement branch interact with both the courts and the corrections branches by the original arrest and testimony along with presenting the defendant before the court and on the corrections side of incarceration. I feel that through coordination and lots of collaboration in successfully getting a criminal the correct punishment in of itself is a compliment. Most would say it is through their information gathering and sharing, having a goal in common by wanting to insure proper justice and the possible future prevention of crime, using diversion into a program as well when suitable such as pre-trial intervention. The police compliment the community they work with and the courts with said evidence and the courts to corrections by setting the sentencing or sanctions imposed to where the corrections department may or will have to house them and hopefully then prepare them through various groups and or classes offered for them to be able to hopefully be released back into society a better more positive neighbor friend or family member.
