I believe I should have the Courage to Grow scholarship because I want to make something for myself. My mother couldn't go to college and she wants me to do my best in my major. I want to become a Game Designer since video games were the only thing that kept me and my stepfather close. He died of heart problems, but he wanted me to show off my creative skills in the one way we bonded. I wanted to make a special video game that we could play and bond over.
We were so close I didn’t trust him at first but once I saw he was really a caring man who would do anything for me and my family I knew he was my best friend. I want to go to college and prove to him that I can be the best I can be. We made a promise that as long as we live we will make
