The introduction was interesting because at least I had an idea of what I would be watching. The entire cartoon consists of a dog whose name is Courage, he was abandoned as a puppy. Muriel and Eustace found him and brought him home to leave with them in the middle of Nowhere. As soon as she lays down on the mattress to sleep, she becomes possessed by the demon mattress. As I was watching the episode, it appeared to be a parody of the 1973 Exorcist movie. Muriel turns her head all the way around to scare both Courage and Eustace, but her head ends up falling on the floor. Muriel has a deep demonic voice and taunts Eustace. Courage finds out they have to perform an exorcism on demon Muriel to get the real Muriel back. Eustace fails and the demon throws up green vomit slime, similar to the Exorcist movie. In the end, Courage tries the exorcism again and saves
