However, the mentors should possess a clear understanding of the basic concepts that should be contained within the agreement in order to meet the desired goals of the couples mentorship program. The agreement should include frequency and duration of meetings. The duration can be a set time. However, the process may be better served by the duration being directly tied to the attainment of goals. The mentorship program should have already developed a list of basic topics that are fundamental to a healthy marriage relationship. Satan has formed a well-organized attack against the family and the institute of marriage. The body of believers, the church, must armor up, and form an intentional counter attack against Satan. The stakes are high and Satan plays for keeps. The couples mentoring program would provide a strategically organized plan of attack that will disarm the enemy, produce healthy marriages, effect the view young people have regarding marriage, impact the community, and provide a means of evangelism.
