Specific programs were created specifically for couples living together considering marriage. Couple relationship education (CRE) has been proposed as one means to help increased rate of marriage. The programs consist of teaching the couple the different aspects that are essential in maintaining a marriage and the skills necessary to survive in relationships. CRE device individualized programs for each couple. This customized attention permitted coaches to connect with couples and demonstrate relationship building (Wilde & Doherty, 2013).
