Joanna, a housewife walks out on her workaholic husband Ted, leaving their young son Billy in Ted 's sole responsibility. Ted learns the hard way how to take care of Billy, dedicating more ambition to his family than to his work, and finally losing his successful job because of his new significances (Benton, 1979). Structural Family Therapy, has proved to be very useful, is one of the most widespread, it was designed in such a way that it covered the entire family system (Corey, 2013). It is the model of how therapy can be (Corey, 2013). The family is of great importance in this model, since it does not focus on a single member but the family as a whole (Corey, 2013). Every therapist must find their style depending on the objectives they may have and the kind of families that are willing to receive intervention in order to obtain clear boundaries (Corey, 2013).
