In this article the writer of this piece I believe was very clear in what they were righting. She wrote in a very precise manner with many facts to back up the writing. The facts included how many deaths per race as well as based on the percentage of each race in the country. The author of this article I believe has hit home to a lot of people. It is very in depth on the race relations in this country. The depth at which this author goes to make her point is great. There are many statistics being thrown out in this article which included stats pertaining to race and deaths by police. But then there are also statistics showing the percentage of each race in the country and then breaking down the percentage of deaths. In this country race relations are very complex. Depending on which side of the issue you fall on depends on what your initial thought is on race. The author here is conveying that although more white americans are killed by police each year that more percentage of black americans are killed each year by police. She shows this by presenting the percentage of black americans in this country to white americans in this country. There were no other points of view that were brought into this article. I do believe she could have accounted for a percentage of deaths by police that are related to drugs or crime. This would bring a whole new level into the
