To counter the gun control laws, through the restriction of guns, harshly punishing of the illegal guns, and enforcing the laws for gun registration, there will be a decrease in the total number of guns in our streets. As it is risky to sell or buy guns, individuals will find it difficult to possess guns and in overall, there will be a decrease in homicide deaths. Besides, it is unrealistic for anyone to hope that one day there will be no gun crime. However, it does not mean that the government should do nothing as its citizens are gunned down each day.
