No doubt the current threats to national security at the moment are ISIS, who has threatened to destroy the United Stated, and the Mexican drug cartels that plague the country with drugs. It is obvious the United States must create meticulous screenings and austering laws for anyone who wishes to enter the country and also those you have recently entered the United States illegally due to rising tensions. While it is understandable to be deport someone who has recently entered the U.S. illegally due to suspicions of malicious activity, it is not completely understandable to deport someone who has been in the United States for quite a number of years. Five years ago, the country was reasonably safe from outside threats because ISIS had still not been created and the cartel did not have as much influence as they do now. It is most likely immigrants who entered the U.S. illegally during that time period were doing so for economic reasons. So, it is safe to assume, that if these immigrants had not committed some heinous crimes while residing in the United States for the past five years, they are here to obey the law and make a decent living. At this point, it is uncertain whether some of his speeches are actually heartfelt and he believes what he is saying 100%, or everything he has been doing for practically the past year has been a brilliant publicity stunt. According to The Guardian.com, Trump is openly proposing to round up all aliens in the country, mainly referring to Mexicans, and send them back to their homeland and afterwards create the next Great Wall of China on the U.S. border. What good would this plan be? Many of the immigrants he proposes to deport have been standing citizens of their communities for several years who no longer have any connections to their previous country. If Trump 's plan were to succeed, millions of families would be separated and the parents would have to make the excruciating decision whether to leave their child and separate their family, or take their child to a country they have never had a connection with and do not consider home.
