The Baudelaire children have been in and out of foster homes, trying to find a parent who will take good care of them. Unfortunately, they don’t exactly have close family. So they were taken in by this man named Count Olaf who is absolutely evil and trying to take the children’s fortune. These children aren’t your average 14,12, and 2 year olds.They have managed to escape him each time. Violet, the oldest has an amazing brain to make up inventions. Klaus is able to read and obtain all of that information. Sunny is just a baby but likes to bite things, which comes in handy when finding out Count Olafs wooden leg was fake. They went to sleep at a strict bedtime of 7:30 and woke up bright and early at 5:15. The children could not stay awake past 7:30 or sleep in past 5:15. Well little did they know Count Olaf was slowly brainwashing them with who knows what method. However there always was a strange aroma in the air at these times. Each morning Sunny cried until Olaf came to the rescue to hold her, while Violet and Klaus made breakfast for everyone. They started to believe Count Olaf was actually family. Soon enough the man and women saw their children were under the spell. They needed to act quick and reverse this awful sight of Sunny in Count Olaf’s arms and Violet and Klaus beginning to find the wrong kind of happiness.
Don’t get me wrong it’s wonderful that the children are happy for once in years. However they were so close to solving the mystery and now it’s in danger. Count Olaf is planning to take over the Baudelaire fortune which will lead to Violet marrying Mr. Olaf and sharing the huge fortune. When I say share I don’t mean equally I mean Count olaf abandons the Baudelaires while he runs off and spends it all. Now it is up to the parents to take action and stop him once and for
