Aside from teaching convicts necessary skills to strive in the real world, the United States prison system incorporate counseling sessions for these individuals. Some important factors that influence the hostile behavior of these criminal offenders are the lack of communication (emotionally) and the incapability of conveying their ideas. Because of counseling sessions, this allows inmates to be grouped together and freely convey their ideas. The positive result of this rehabilitative method is that it teaches prisoners to freely express their feelings and releasing their anger. Due to this projection of emotions, this reduces the chances of convicts participating in aggressive behavior.
