In essence these thoughts and philosophies can be viewed as flawed primarily because they are composite thoughts of man who is also flawed. So, the search for truth as viewed by man is in direct contradiction with the truth of God’s word which is not flawed and presents no fallacies in its presentation.
As the foundational work of “Biblical Counseling”, begins to take shape in Chapter 3, a realistic view of evangelism, and discipleship focused through the usage primarily of God’s word displays overwhelming results to those in dire need of hope and spiritual guidance. As the Holy Spirit teaches, it has a resounding impact upon all involved, the counselor as well as the counselee. The art of giving hope to grief stricken individuals and those who seek to make a connection once again with God utilizing the truth of His word, is crucial in their tireless fight against the division of man from God because of “sin”.
Sin in itself, requires to be acknowledge and accepted as a division between man and God, not to
