I am eager to be able to promote the Gilman Scholarship and international education to other students at the College of Charleston by becoming apart of the Cougar Ambassadors. After studying abroad, becoming a Cougar Ambassador will allow international students’ to have a smoother transition coming to study at my college. The goal is to connect with an international student before they arrive to my college and throughout their first semester and to participate events the Center for International Education plans. My target population is international, college students interested in studying at the College of Charleston. Being a Cougar Ambassador will give this group of people a feeling of ease coming to a new culture, and something to look
