Today I’m going to talk about how to travel with couchsurfing. I went to Toronto alone for a week during reading week, then I tried couchsurfing for the first time. All of experiences through this trip were amazing, so I decided to talk about it here. I’ll explain what couchsurfing is, how we use it, and my experiences in Toronto.
First, I want to ask you a question; do you know about couchsurfing? Or have you tried it? Of course it doesn’t mean we surf with a couch.
Couchsurfing is a service that connects members to a global community of travelers. Use Couchsurfing to find a place to stay or share your home and hometown with travelers. Usually you have to pay for places where you stay when you’re traveling. But you don’t have to pay at all when you use couch. It doesn’t mean we should use it because you can save money. The main purpose of this system is meeting new people and making new friends in order to add spice to our lives.

At first you need to sign up for couchsurfing on the website or original app. You can register with your Facebook account. After that, you need to fill out your own profile. You will write about; your personality, languages you can speak or you want to learn, the things what you’re interested in, why you’re on couchsurfing, whatever. Also you can mention about you joined to it as a guest or as a host. If you cannot be a host like me, because I’m an exchange student and living on campus, you should write “I can’t accept a guest.” Otherwise you have to decline all requests asking for
