In awe, the ride to Arenal was absolutely stunning, I saw many things I had never seen before. There were the cutest little houses that everyone in a village lived in, beautiful winding roads covered in green forest, and many exotic animals; when we arrived to Arenal, we ate at a local outdoor restaurant that was divine. Next we saw Arenal, we went to the most beautiful spa, where the lava flowed into the river that created to hot springs of the spa; the spa had a slide made of rock that lead into a beautiful pool with a bar inside, many different hot springs of all different temperatures, and brick pathways full with plants and animals I had never seen in person before! After all this we had a beautiful buffet dinner at the spa with exotic foods and drinks, but then it was time to return to San Jose when we would be leaving again the next day. Meanwhile, after I woke up, I had no idea for what I was in store for. Unknowingly, my grandparents told me we would be staying in a hut in a poor village. Eager to get there, we had to take another long bus ride to get there, then on a boat ride through the jungle for about an hour. Thrilled, we had finally arrived at the beautiful Tortuguero. Tortuguero is on the east coast of Costa Rica, and has many villages of poor people. Then when we docked, exotic dancers brought us drinks, and showed us the way to our hut. It was absolutely alluring and had a huge bathroom. Posterior, we went to a poor village across the river, and I took some little things with me to give out. Walking around the village, we got to see a fascinating beach, the local school that was greatly different from ours, and adorable little children. These were the happiest children I had ever seen. They had the biggest smile on their face, even though they had remarkably little; I began to give them little things I
