On February 7, 2016 La Casa Amarilla opens its historic doors to the public for the first time La Casa Amarilla was built in 1920 by Henry D. Whitfield, an architect from the US from the United States. The “Yellow House” will be open for tours two times every month. La Casa Amarilla is home to many historic documents and signatures along with a piece of the Berlin Wall. Costa Rica is honored as one of three countries to have a piece of the Berlin Wall in Latin America. La Casa Amarilla will also be open on; March 5, March 19, April 2, and April 9.
