Cole and Zhou (2014) further indicate that the cost of the higher educational learning continues to be of great concern in the case where a quality education is necessary. According to the authors, concerns regarding the cost of higher education continually raise disturbing worries to the public. As such, I chose this topic of the cost of higher education since it evaluates the increase in the cost of higher education over the past five years as an attribute to the reduction of state supportive government resources towards education, thus forcing an offset forcing an increase in tuition and fees. In this sense, the increase in the cost of learning greatly affected public institutions that have over 75% enrolment of students.
