The first time I used Cost/Benefit Analysis was when I was buying my first car. For my sixteenth birthday, my grandparents gave me $7,500 to be used for buying a car. Naturally, $7,500 would not buy anything new, so I searched for a used one. After wandering the car lot, I chose a Jeep Liberty as my first car. The price for the Jeep was $7,500. Before I made my decision to buy it, I thought about whether I should spend it all or save some for insurance and potential repairs. I decided on saving some of the money by using some of the $7,500 and supplement the remaining cost with money from my bank account. This decision proved to be in my better interest, as the callipers locked up, and needed a new fender.
