Cosmic Irony: Relationship Between The Father And The Dog

Last but not least the daughter who had a short interaction in the story but because of her there was a whole story to even read.
If the story took place in a different place in a different setting I don’t think the father would’ve behaved the same way. Just being at his home where he can imagine where his kids would be running around with sparky probably played in the father’s head continuously. He went the extra mile for the dog that he hates because of his children. In a different setting, he may have just discarded the body anywhere without a care to it or about how his kids would feel about it.

I believe the author took this approach so that the audience can take a journey with the father on his quest to bury his kid’s dog that he hates, then later loves. The tone of the story also gave the readers a taste of an old saying you don’t know what you have till it’s gone. I’m not too crazy about how the father treated the dog as he died, but I’m happy his conscience woke him up a bit. Although the story started off negative as you continued to read it pulled

Although he finally liked the dog he was also happy to finally get rid of him, only to be told by his teary-eyed daughter to get another dog just like sparky. It was like sparky’s last trick against the father. You might get rid of me, but there will still be another dog to continue where I left off.
In conclusion, the story of the kid’s dog was strange, weird, dark and funny. We followed a character on a short journey with him finding he likes a creature that he used to hate. He thought back to times when the dog wasn’t really all that bad. Although along the journey he was bad to the dog, he proved that he had a conscience and was going to right his

Manzanar Final Write Up: Contrary to most people, I did not enjoy the book “Farewell to Manzanar”. The story itself was only partly interesting and I personally am not a fan of non-fiction. Real life is almost never as interesting as someone else's imagination. In addition, reading a non-fiction war story only made me sad since it actually happened. Jeanne Wakatsuki (the author and narrator) was the character I connected to the most.…
