I found myself when I found cosmetology. I found that I could pick up some makeup, or pick up my phone and watch makeup tutorials and hours later I would realize that this is what I wanted to do in life. My sophomore year I decided I wanted to further my education in hair and makeup.
I was ten when I got my first piece of makeup, I remember it like it was yesterday. It was christmas, I got a black pencil eyeliner, mascara, and lip gloss. I was so happy to get to try these out. Of course, I was pretty bad at putting it on at first, but as i kept trying I could see the improvement. Makeup became a part of my daily routine when I got into eighth grade.
