Figure 2 above shows a bar chart of Wind Speed Frequency Distribution for Corry Mountain site. The Wind Speed Frequency Distribution is a histogram showing the wind speed in (m/s) and the frequency of hours per year that are expected for each wind speed. Estimation of annual available energy:
The annual available energy is calculated by using the formula below:
E=1/2×ρ×A×v^3×f (1)
Where (E) is the energy in (KWh/year), (ρ) is the density of air in (Kg/m³), (A) is the area in (m²), (v) is the velocity is (m/s) and (f) is the frequency in (hour/year).
Table 1 below shows the annual available energy at Corry Mountain

    Remediation: The mudboils in Tully Valley are caused by artesian pressure. To reduce mudboil sediment discharges from the mudboil depression area to Onondaga Creek, remedial measures were implemented. This includes installing depressurizing wells along Onondaga Creek and around the mudboil depression area to decrease the artesian pressure. Since the majority of mudboils in Tully Valley are located near the Onondaga Creek mudboil passageway and mudboil tributary diversion channel, the majority of the depressurizing wells is placed near those locations as a result.…

In particular, the Anderson text, Thinking About Women, and Cantarow’s Moving the Mountain introduced me to a number of different issues that I had not previously considered as a white, middle-class woman. After examining historical, sociological, feminist, and other perspectives and reading about activists who worked to bring about social change, I feel I have become better informed and more aware of the challenges women face in today’s society as well as more inclined to participate in opportunities for social action. Part A Activist Jessie Lopez De La Cruz was a Mexican American, born in California in 1919 to a working poor family.…

Results for, estimation of wind power and wind energy density shows a frequency occurrence of poor performance of speed classes. The results shows that average wind speed (V) vary over a relatively small range of 5.39 m/s at S3 and 2.13 m/s at S2 and relative density of 208.19 m/w2 and 155.66 m/w2 according to…
