Both Polynices and Eteocles died in battle that day, thus gaining Creon the throne. He than abused this power creating a proclamation towards the burial and morn of Polynices, justified by Polynices betrayal. Contradicting himself in what he believes a leader should be like. A quote from Creon´s dialogue, ¨Money! Nothing worse in our lives, so current, rampant, so corrupting. Money- you demolish cities, root men from their homes, you train and twist good minds and set them on to the most atrocious schemes. No limit, you make them adept at evry kind of outrage, every godless crime- money!¨(pg. 73 [335-341]). This quote creates incongruencies in Creon 's belief because the sudden acquirance of the kingdom 's money drove him insane with pride. Complicating the problem since he would not set Antigone free just because she was a women. Not even if she was his son 's fiancee and creon 's own niece. He would not allow a woman to beat him by defiling his direct law and burying her brother, Polynices. The Taliban used various cruel methods to obtain this terror control, such as public execution of people who betrayed or failed to follow the extremist rules, along with Public hanging and floggings. By Setting the example the Taliban insured that people would be to scared to stand up against them. Other methods were used to simply eliminate obstacles no matter their status in society, increasing the terror by showing that no one could escape their control. An example was the assassination plot that ended with the death of prime minister Benazir Bhutto on 27 December, 2007. By murdering the prime minister, that was campaigning against the Taliban, the Taliban in return demonstrated their willpower to eliminate anyone who dared to threaten their authority. Another demonstration of this idea was with the assassination attempt to murder Malala at an age of just 17. She survived the attempt but instead of halting her movement, this event made her stronger. The Taliban attempt was to show the world that no one, no matter the age would stop them. This was an event not done by the Taliban prior to Malala. Therefore, Demonstrating all their willpower to stop anyone children, women or man going against Islam.
