Corruption In George Orwell's Animal Farm

When corruption is happening in a community most of people are unaware, even though it might be obvious for outsiders. The marvelous book Animal Farm by George Orwell depicts this wonderfully. One of the main themes in Animal Farm is that if the citizens are not always aware of what is happening, this can lead to corruption and can overtake a better society. The animals in Animal Farm are naive. When the pigs are slowly taking over none of the animals were questioning the things that the pigs did. The pigs made special rules such as if a non-pig and a pig crossed paths the non-pig would have to get out of the way. None of the animals asked if that followed the commandments. The animals were not very educated from the beginning. This makes it very easy to not know what is happening on the farm. Also the uneducated animals were very easy to manipulate. Rules are what keeps our schools and homes safe and in control. These commandments were changed and broken in Animal Farm. When rules are broken usually what happens is the person that brakes them gets punished by a intelligent ruler. On Animal Farm there was no one in charge to punish the animal. Also the animals go around the commandments. One commandment was to not sleep on beds and the pigs changed the commandments to animals shall not sleep on beds with sheets. The pigs slept on beds without sheets and the other animals looked back at the commandments and thought they didn't notice the "with sheets" part. The animals where very easy to trick and changing the rules lead to an uncontrollable
