The corrupt politician that I decided to research and write about is Richard Nixon. Nixon is one of the most corrupt politician in history, he is meanly known for the Watergate scandal. The felony that took place June 17, 1972 was remembered for years. The criminals were attempting to bug and steal top secret papers from the Democratic Party’s National Committee offices. Actually they had broken in a month before but the microphone was not working. So the Watergate buglers tried to break in once again only to be count by the police. President Nixon ended up spending thousands of dollars in hush money to the burglars. It was later that people found out that he hired the buglers to bug the Democratic Party’s National Committee offices to get
