Introduction: Wynn Resorts, Limited is a company led by CEO Stephen A. Wynn that runs five-star luxury type resorts, hotels, and casinos ranking 477 in the Fortune 50(477. Wynn Resorts). Common to the United States, Wynn Las Vegas and Encore are two large luxury hotels spanning over 4,700 rooms and suites for guests as well as featuring 186,000 square feet worth of casino, and 34 food and drink places, a golf course, luxury vehicle dealership, shopping, night clubs, and beach access. Wynn Resorts is also part owner (72%) of Wynn Macau, Limited located in China. The company and their employees get involved by volunteering for many organizations and causes in the Las Vegas, Nevada area. In 2014, a total of 4,000 hours was spent by employees volunteering their time for local organizations. According to the CSR report, company employees willingly go and give their time to those in need throughout the year. Wynn also helps by collecting donations from its employees. They proudly collected $410,000 toward United Way in their first year of their campaign. These efforts led to them earning the highest amount in their first year out of all resorts in Las Vegas. The money collected from the 47% of employees who donated went to helping families in need across the southern part of Nevada. The Las Vegas and Encore resorts were recognized for a perfect score on the 2014 Corporate Equity Index due to their efforts in supporting LGBT people. Going further, the company was also one of the first resorts to offer healthcare benefits for same-sex couples and their families. For people who identify as transgender, Wynn offers plans to cover costs in terms of transition and promise to uphold a safe and judgement free workplace.
