Psychopathy is widely believed to only be present in people who are murderers and or criminals and not as somebody you may know that is not a convicted criminal. However, one percent of the human population is believed to be psychopathy, and that small percentage are considered to suffer from anti-social personality disorders. Although psychopathy traits are often misinterpreted by individuals since they do in fact correlate closely with favorable traits in management roles. However, just because somebody does show signs of being a psychopathy does not mean that they truly are. With the traits of a psychopathy correlating so closely with management desired traits most psychopathy people will in fact work in higher positions, and we see this more likely in big corporations. Therefore, these individuals have been given the title of “Corporate Psychopaths”. As seen with psychopaths on a criminal standpoint, corporate psychopaths do not fit well into society. However, with that stated, they do watch their surroundings and learn how they are supposed to react to certain situations which is how they have managed to integrate themselves into the workforce so seamlessly.
