Corporate Censorship: An Argumentative Analysis

It is a well known fact that throughout schools located in the United States, an abundance of educators use corporate sponsorship as a way to raise money for their schools. More schools commit themselves to this united aid as a means of last resort especially, because it provides their schools with much needed equipment. For example they provide, new textbooks ,computers, and sports gear. This really helps "cash strapped" schools ,because it's usually the only source of income the schools can receive. However, we have been victims of this destructive tactic. Although schools require income, there is a more ethical way to maintain financial stability . Corrupt sponsorships initiate more predicaments then solutions in the long run. For example, Exxon might put in their textbooks that oil is a renewable source and that they are concerned with the Earth’s well being ,and are more than ready to help keep the world a better place. This would greatly hurt the kids because they are young and naive and don't know what they are learning is false since they believe everything they are learning from school is true, just leading to more of a harmful impact upon their education. You need to remember that most of these kids will go back home and use these textbooks for homework, research, and studying. Most of them will not go back home on top of that and do more research just to make sure what they learned is correct. This shows how much the textbooks impact the students, because eventually the odds will stack up against the students and leave them with not that much leeway to correct the wrongs that the corporate sponsorships had made against them in the past.
