When the choice was clearly between you speaking to the OC , or me undertaking Remedial Training, then there was only one option as far as I was concerned. Thank you for not speaking to the OC on this occasion, Staff. I can assure you that I intend to take my Remedial Training like a real man, so that you can see that I have guts and determination and am worth of my Cap Badge.

The Corporal Punishment that I took at Borstal was by far the most painful experience of my life. I have heard my mates say that you can thrash a solider harder than any other man in the British Army, which is why I am so fearful of my fate. I wouldn't have imagined that Corporal Punishment could get any worse than what I took at Borstal, but clearly I am wrong
