The Human Biology, Health, and Society major allows me to do so. As I complete the introductory courses in chemistry, biology, math, writing, and the social science, I would have a chance to contemplate different career paths while still forming a strong background. Nevertheless, this major’s emphasis on biology and chemistry allows me to prepare me for medical school. Moreover, this major is holistically unique, for it gets students ready for the constantly changing real world by offering them a broad, multidisciplinary perspective on human health issues. Cornell also gives me numerous opportunities—such as summer internships and field studies—to apply my academic studies to the real-world. These resources would enable me to both gain experience and further consider my strengths and interests. Ultimately, the College of Human Ecology and the Human Biology, Health, and Society major would give me the opportunity to approach the medical field from all different types of angles as well as the chance to experience an exciting, cultured, and opportune life while attaining a top
