In the quote “Freedom is never really won, you earn it and win it in every generation.” -- Coretta Scott King, civil rights activist, she explains to us that in order to manage your freedoms they'd acquire to be won in every generation. Say the government shuts down a necessary resource maybe the water recourses because the world is dying. There would be ample conflict coming along with that, like when slavery still existed people had to fight for their rights. They now include their freedoms just like anyone else would. What does it mean to have to accomplish your freedoms over and over again? Think of it as if this was a mother and daughter situation the daughter is older and positively responsible. For example, slavery we have completely got rid of the thought of slavery, but doesn't mean it can't happen again. Though it's not likely to happen again. In some situations freedoms do have to be won over again like maybe you got promoted in your job, but you accidently messed it all up you'd have to earn the freedom of promotion from your boss. It all depends on the situation if your freedom has to be won back or not of if it is most likely not to happen again. Usually if you lose someone's trust it can lead to losing freedoms, because they don't know if they can count on you to do what needs to be done the right way again. Some schools can't have gum. It is probably because teachers and staff can't trust kids with it, or the kids are too childish and immature. Either way you lose the freedom of being able to have gum in a school. Kids might not have the freedom to use scissors, because they have probably done something wrong with them before like cutting their hair. Trust plays a key role in most people's lives. So if the person is trustworthy of you, and you can try your best. You might walk out of life free as a bird! Sometimes it's hard to win over people's trust again though. So make sure you try not to lose your freedoms because they can be hard to get
