I am proud of the value system I possess and know they will assist me in the constant learning and growth process in regards to my leadership practices. The core values listed above are the foundation for my leadership development plan.

Leadership Practices Inventory – Self Evaluation
Based on my self-assessment on the LPI the areas I need to improve upon are inspiring a shared vision and challenging the process. During this assessment I was critical of myself which is reflected in my low scores. Based on the data below my perceived strengths are enabling others to act, modeling the way and encouraging the heart.

Leadership Practices Inventory – Observers Evaluations
The data compiled from observer one, Service Desk Analyst indicates my three strongest leadership practices are inspiring a shared vision, encouraging the heart and modeling the way. Observer two, Director of Administrative Services data indicates my three strongest traits are encouraging the heart, inspiring a shared and modeling the way. Kouzes & Posner describe enabling others to act as fostering collaboration by building trust & facilitating relationships, strengthen others by increasing self-determination and developing competence. Inspiring a shared vision was within a point of the third leadership strength. The areas to improve upon listed above can and will be worked. I find it extremely interesting the data compiled scored my leadership skills lowest in the area of Challenging the Process. Kouzes and Posner define this process as searching for opportunities by seizing the initiative and looking outward for innovative ways to improve.
