Most companies must compete with a rival company to get more benefit when they manage a business. They made various improvements in an effort to increase the sales of the store. In an increasingly globalized world, they need some kind of countermeasure and absolutely consider management policies, strategic, and marketing because these are important keys to produce differences of other companies and conquer them. Management is to coordinate the effort of people to accomplish their goal and objectives analyzing resources, asserts and risks on business. In order to smoothly conduct it, human resources, goods, money and information are procured, distributed effectively and combined properly. SWOT and 3C analysis are major strategies and some companies actually use these strategies. Following the original strategies, companies try to acquire a position of superiority over competitors. In the course of competence, they create their strength and new things. So as to develop the strategy, companies use several diversity and core competence effectively to prevail in competition as shown by Apple. Core competence and diversity are significant marketing strategies. These are sound policies to support lasting company’s growth. Core competence is the company’s unique characteristic or fundamental capability that exceeds overwhelmingly competing companies. C.K.Prahaland and Gary Hamel introduced the concept of core competence in management theory. They said that core competence must fulfill three criteria. First, it provides some profit to various costumers. Second, it can promote plural goods and markets. Third, it is difficult to imitate by competitors. A start that apple made remarkable progress is popularity of the iPod that is sold in 2001. Apple mainly sold computers before this, but iPod occupied a half of stocks in 2006. The incident hit Sony that was famous for a Walkman in those days. On the market of a music player, iPod were able to support of the public. The success of iPod made Apple grow and the growth was also accelerated by iPhone. In 2007, iPhone was released as a smartphone and the simplicity and consistency of iPhone set apart from other companies. The function of iPhone upgraded repeatedly and Apple caught the world’s attention. After the appearance of iPhone, iPad that is tablet type of a computer went on in 2010. Through several years, more than half of present sales in Apple are portable terminal business focusing iPhone and iPad followed by Mac. According to second quarterly performance in 2015, iPhone revenue is 40,282 million dollars, iPad revenue is 5,482 million dollars, Mac revenue is 4,563 million dollars, services revenue is 4,996 million dollars and other products revenue is 1,689 million dollars. IPhone accounts for seventy percent of sales of Apple. On the other hand, the popularity of iPod and iPad tend to fall. The sales of apple store do not satisfy five percent of total sales.
