From the perspective of the Conflict theory, crime is caused by economic inequalities. The ruling class enforces laws that define what crime is, which benefits the higher class by maintaining their privileged positions. The working class are stuck with unfavorable laws that lock them in a perpetuating cycle of crime. In the song, the words: “Fuck the police!” are the result of economic clash between the powerful and weak. The author of the song contemplates on how he plans to kill a police officer. This is not a result of a lack of social organization or a lack of ethical standards
