Coordination of care will begin before entering the room as I will need to communication with other healthcare professionals. I will need to ask the nurse assigned to John what his normal pattern of his vitals are, so that I am not surprised if he is lower or higher than the normal. I would also discuss with the respiratory therapist about John’s ABG’s to make and address any positions that she would not recommend for the patient to be in. I might also include the respiratory therapist in on the therapy session to help assist patient with his breathing patterns and to assist with mechanical ventilator as needed. I may also have a PTA if available to help with treatment and/or transfers of patient as I may need assistance, and to help with
