Cooperation Is What Makes Us Human Vs. Thought Analysis
In the essay “Cooperation is what makes us human” the author determines the reason
why cooperation makes us human. The author analyzes by using specific examples the
differences that we have between animal’s cooperation and Human beings cooperation, while
in the “Thought experiment” essay the author point out two kind of life’s perception. While
analyzing these two essays, I had two important questions in mind, which is how and why these
two essays are related? From these two essays, I actually have made connections that I am
going to talk about later in my essay regarding similarity of their messages by using different
and specific examples.

The environment that we were born in, and the genes
that we received from our parents represent the nature, while what we do with what we have
got is part of the nurture.
Similarly, both “Cooperation is what makes us human” and “Thought Experiment”
address the same topic which is Nature and Nurture (free will). First, animals don’t have the
freewill to choose if they want to cooperate or not. They have been place and create with their
instincts to guide them rather than to actually make a choice. It’s the same for babies who were
born either in a poor family or a rich family. They didn’t choose in which family they wanted to
be born, in fact, they are not responsible of their parents past, or the genes they received.
When we talk about nurture, we talk about free choice. The natural choice that human beings
make to help one to another, to share together, to rescue when someone need our help is part
of the nurture side. Even though you were born from stupid parents, in a very poor family, you
still have the opportunity to make a change for your life. We can decide if we want to
