Conzonire Case Investigation

Before this investigation on Wednesday, 12/16/2015, we met with Mr. Joseph R. Conzonire, the President and Owner of The Hat Restaurant’s 11 locations throughout the counties of Los Angeles, Riverside, Orange, Ventura and San Bernardino. We explained our objective and approach for obtaining statements from his employees.

Mr. Conzonire stepped into the conversation with Ms. Yu and Ms. Larios and insisted that were not legally bound to obtain their recorded statements. He stated that we were not practicing attorney’s and that the meeting with Ms. Yu and Larios was not being done in a court of law. He instructed Ms. Yu and Ms. Larios, in front of this Investigator, not to sign any documentation if asked to do so by the Investigator.
